The Renewed Activist exists so that people on Gather can come together to publish prose, poems or images about human rights issues, and to write and comment about all kinds of human rights issues, abuses and solutions.

The human rights issues include civil rights and racial equality, gay rights, women's rights, men's rights, children's rights, elderly rights, poverty, aids, world hunger and oppression. T

he Renewed Activist looks for articles or images in areas of interest in human rights issues, violations, and solutions by thinking, writing and activism.

Please use the categories listed in the synopsis to indicate the scope of this group. When you publish to The Renewed Activist, please make sure your article or image lies within this scope.

If it is determined (by me) tha your article or image does not fall within the scope of the group, I will notify the poster and ask them to please remove the article or image. I don't expect this to be a problem, as I am certain most people will publish to this group, and respect the guidelines described above.

The Renewed Activist will be a terrific repository of articles and images dealing with some of the most horrific and important issues facing our world today: human rights and what that means for us.
